In MUCOOL note 92 we described a general linear theory for transverse ionization cooling in solenoidal channels. This brief report will apply and illustrate our theory to the recently proposed "single-flip" cooling channel. Simple specific formulae are given for calculating the transverse emittance and angular momentum in a "single-flip" cooling channel. The cooling behavior in a constant-focusing channel is found to be different from that in a periodic-focusing channel: after some initial cooling, instead of reaching an equilibrium, the emittance grows linearly with the length of the channel.
