Abstract:
Polarization of muons in the cooling channel is investigated in the spirit of an
earlier similar study for the decay channel. Algorithms to transport polarized
muons through absorbers are presented. Care is taken to preserve correlations
between polarization and phase space variables. Some examples are included by
way of illustration.
