Abstract:
This is a revision of our MUCOOL note 240, "Linear Theory of Ionization
Cooling in 6D Phase Space". We included a neglected coefficient 1/gamma^2 in
the longitudinal hamiltonian, Eq. (1), and in the coefficient I(s) of Eq. (7).
Speacial thank to D. Neuffer for pointing out our neglegence.
