Errors caused by misalignment of the Solenoids.
Abstract:
An error analysis on coil misalignments for the 15 T. Alternate
Solenoid Channel is described. It is shown that (i) the most critical
coils to (X,Z) or (Y,Z) misalignments are those located in the field reversal
region, at beta max (ii) the tolerance ranges from a few mRad. to
$\approx 0.5 \, mRad.$, depending on the coil locations.
