Abstract:
V.Balbekov: Pre-cooling Stage of Neutrino Factory.
Pre-cooling stage of the muon source for the neutrino factory is investigated.
It includes: decay channel, induction linac for single phase rotation, liquid
hydrogen absorber for minicooling, buncher, and 3 matching sections. Input
file is taken from paper [2] where the target station with carbon target and
16 GeV proton beam had been considered. Output beam contains some more 0.12
muons per incident proton at normalized transverse emittance about 12 mm.
