A study of the sensitivity of the FoFo lattice design to the large angle
tail of the Multiple Coulomb Scattering (MCS) distribution is presented. The
FoFo lattice parameters are the same as the one used in the FNAL
feasibility study. The channel was simulated using DPGeant, with a modification
to the MCS model implementation which allowed a maximum scattering angle cut
per step. The conclusion is that unless very hard cuts are implemented, the
gain in emittance reduction is on the order of $30\%$ and the difference in
particle loss on the order of $5\%$.
