Phase rotation of pion/muon beam by induction linac is considered.
Input file is obtained by MARS code using 16 GeV protons and carbon
target. Transverse focusing in the decay channel and linac is effected
by way of1.25 T solenoid.
Several versions are considered: with short or long decay channel;
with or without minicooling. In all the versions muon/proton ratio is
0.12--0.14 at energy interval of muons $\pm 15 MeV$~(*). Minicoolings by
LH2 or LiH absorbers are very similar because contribution of scattering
in the absorbers is relatively small.
(*) In previous version of this notice the yield was understated by factor
1.5 -- 1.7. The cause: by an oversight magnet field in the decay channel
was directed opposite to the field in target station. Sorry.
